The first track, has some wonderful sounds in it, and it is cleverly sown together with what I call an acceptable amount of vocals, toned just right with an easy beat, and then that seeming anguish just near the end really sold it for me!-) Arabian, an even easier beat, a bit of middle eastern minimalism. Melting into Mind Soul Dark Light, a darker track in a sense but whatever evil that it is your mind, your spirit can remain light and part of the aether, which I think can be a big influence on a human beings life, usually without any sense of it at all. Here this track underlines my belief that whatever may go through your mind, and however much bad karma you can accrue, the spirit and soul are very taken to cleansing. I understand what traversing the abyss can entail, but there is always hope and I see this happen with the fusion (which in itself, is indicative of progress). The only dark lure then is into CONfusion, but even then there is always structure and progress somewhere along the lifeline, sooner or later. Which is when you get experimental with fusing these musical elements that can sometimes enhance the overall effect when done. This was done with passion and insight to Black and White/Dark and Light. Honey and Milk slips along gently and smoothly, then you fall into this deeper chord change (?) but it still retains it's origin and enhances it with some nice guitar work. Acid is like an expression of an impression, but then it's a multi-faceted place of reflection to be potentially, so that kind of makes sense to me. The guitar work confirms that for me in a way for the same reason. There's an element of it's been 'done before', which you have to except and each time is different. Then there comes Hills. I like hills, good places for perspective. I've spent many a time on such promontories and in and amongst nature, it's a great way of grounding yourself. This Situation is a predominantly vocal track that expresses itself clearly. Reprise made me think instantly of Led Zep III. Nice interlude. Reiteration. Aila Vusol Dua, predominantly vocal in a variety of guises, nice changes in effect reflecting how different the same thing can sound both here and in reality. Again nice backing track, simple string work, with nice flourishes of solo, and mid-paced rhythm section. Starburst sounds like a stoner track almost, it's almost lazy but in an oddly appealing, sympathetic way. Whatever will be, will be... Lastly, the pact, The Devil Gave Me Music. It's essentially a vocal/guitar track and all I will say is that, inspiration comes from the soul, the spirit, the eponymous 'i'. Don't sell yourself cheap!-) Nice expression in music, thanks for sharing it.
