There are two arias which I wrote for two friends of mine some years ago, 'Caro Nome' and 'Fammi combattere'. The first one is from the year 2006 and it is my favourite, since it is so simple and, though, so intriguing. I wrote this for a friend who I met only for two very short times - in Santiago de Chile for two hours and Toronto for some days. I hope he is fine, wherever he is at the moment. The second piece is for the person with the biggest heart in the world. I know there will be a time, when you will sing anybody against the wall. Finally, I have to thank my friend, Ulf Zastrau, who recorded these two pieces with me last year. The recording as well as the sheet music can be downloaded below. The special charm of the piano is purely intentional

Like any other composer I wished that people might sing or even perform these pieces in future. Especially the Caro nome is not difficult to play and to sing, at least much easier than the Fammi combattere. If you decided to do so, let me know how it went or maybe even send me a recording. My email can also be found on the web page mentioned above. I would be very happy to hear some alternative recordings. But before all, have fun. Like McFerrin said : dont worry, play mozart :-)
