Album description

es This text is not available in your chosen language, we are displaying it in its original language.

Bueno, os presento ya oficialmente “Point of no return”.

Dark and dramatic. I can't think of many albums in my collection with so many standout tracks.
My favourite is 'Pyraminx' but there are so many others.
I would certainly buy the CD (or better) if it were available.
Looking forward to more...

What a fantastic album this is. From dark and eerie chords to heaven-like experiences that blow you away to another world, this one is a must have. All tracks are beautifully crafted pieces, but I'd suggest "Requiem" if I was to choose a favourite. Way to go, Roger!

This album has been on my mp3 player for awhile now and I just love it. The music is so beautiful. "Pyraminx" is definitely a superior track. When it plays for me on my player as I take my runs I am just uplifted and feel as if I could fly. Your songs make me smile and they just make me feel good. They are like clear bells in my head and I find them to be well composed, powerful and full of integrity.

This album opened by "Pyraminx", where the song started by silence-dark-feeling. Gradually, the song morphed into something more energetic, more melodic and more beautifull song. But you still can hear the silence-dark feeling. Grandour, yes, but somewhat sad. I love the way the piano combined with other instruments near the end.

Second song, "Point of No Return", have beautifully played piano. More power added by the percusion and violin near the middle. Near the end, more power added and finally ended beautifully.

After that, the song return to dark-silence feeling. "Thryst" opened like "Pyraminx", using slow and smooth sound. Nera the middle, you'll get the feeling from a prayer. In the middle, the track morphed into something much more fast-beat, powerfull, and energetic. The vocal, both men and women, are very good. It's strengthening the prayer-like atmosphere. Near the end, the tone suprisingly sweet while maintaining the power. The percusion are good, too. Its remind me of Japanesse drum like instrument.

In "A Piece of Heaven", I enjoy the sweetness of the piano. The song is so sweet, and it made me reminded my old beautiful memories. Little thouch of violin increase the sweet effect of the piano.

"The mask" have simple opening. This song quite good. Little different from the previous songs, but still maintain the same atmosphere.

"Silent Tears" make me remember mountains, lakes, and great sky. But still has the similar dark-hymn atmosphere.

I enjoy "Live in Onara" very much. This song is so beautifull, so energetic, so grandour. The vocals are good too.

You will find similar "A Piece of Heaven" atmosphere in "Blood Brother". Warm emotion is reflected in this song. The piano is sweet.

After familly warm in "Blood Brother", "Morphosis" bring dark atmosphere back. Surprisingly, it didn't morphed into something more energetic or sweet tones.

"Island of Light" is very similar with "A Piece of Heaven".

In "Requiem", the atmosphere is dark-hymne.

After the gloomy feels in "Requiem", we can hear simple but lively tones in "Tales of Trees". It doesn't as sweet as the other songs, but it has its own atmosphere. This song is much more unpretentious than the others.

As the closing song, we can hear the well played piano in "Enjoit". This is the most simple song than the other, not only because using only piano, but also the tones its played.

Overall, this album has its own charisma. In the opening we presented by glorius songs. In the end, we can enjoy simple easy going tone. In the middle, the songs are wide-variety, from warm-lovely-home feeling, to clear-sweet-heart touching tone, into dark-gloomy-hymn. I'm very impressed by this album, and I encouraging every one to try this album.

ps: sorry about my english...............

Great great great.

I absolutely love the first 2 tracks. Some of the tracks are very good, then others come out of nowhere and sound primal. Overall, very good.

I have been listening to this for months, and I'm surprised that I haven't wrote a review on this yet.

Gracias.

I admire this album because the production values are very good, the mood is atmospheric, the music is interesting (would be a good film soundtrack) and the overall result is memorable. Thank you.
