Description

PERKMANDELJC - THE VANISHING SPIRIT (original soundtrack)

(2001)

The original soundtrack, written and recorded in 2001, for the full-length physical theatre performance "Perkmandeljc - The Vanishing Spirit" by the choreographer and director Branko Potočan.

Perkmandeljc - The Vanishing Spirit was a performance inspired by the life of miners in a small industrial community where the director used to live. The concept of the soundtrack was that it should be reminiscent of a small brass band of suspicious pedigree, therefore most of the music for this performance was performed by brass and woodwind instruments. The soundtrack also includes a few electronic / programmed tracks and atmospheres.
