Album description

Harbinger: "The Album" 1982

PSM studio, in Quebec City, provided the opportunity to accomplish what the band had been working towards all along. The band and the songs were ready, and now they had an exceptional studio in which to record.

But as fate and circumstances would have it, the final mix didn't meet the band's standards or expectations and instead of producing their first album, Harbinger had recorded the final chapter in its' chronicles.

By 1984 the members Mark "Bailey" Baniuk (production), Martin Deemar (Keys, vocals), Larry"Spatch" Mulhall (bass guitar, vocals), Mark Desjardins( guitar, Vocals), Dan Laurin (drums) and Errol "Star" Francis (lead vocals, guitar) agreed to go their separate ways, anticipating new experiences that lay ahead.

Dedicated to all band members, the road crews, and the fans that made all of this possible.

Martin 2008

Another version of the album has surfaced... the Halifax sessions... available at: jamendo.com/en/album/25276

I wish we could find the first rough mix of this album. It was much heavier & captured the raw live spirit of the group.
