'Mayan Traveller' is the story of a poor indigent farmer living at the edge of the rain forest, eaking out an existence for his family by toiling the soil. His youngest child is bitten by an insect and becomes deathly sick. The only treatment for his illness is in a substance produced by a rare form of bumble bee which exsists deep within the forest. The farmer heads off on a dark journey to find the nektar and along the way stumbles across the remains of a temple built by his ancestors ages before. He follows the bees into a hidden entrance to the temple taking him deep underground where he finds a race of strange reptilian creatures living in a secret city unlike anything seen by man. His discovery is not appreciated by these creatures who do not wish to be exposed. His adventure also being complicated by the urgency of time to return to his family with the cure for his ailing child.
