This album can't really be faulted, especially if you're a bit of a old-school rock fan and like to hear songs of that ilk done properly.

If I had to compare them to some more well known bands I'd probably say... Reuben, little hints of Soundgarden (I'm thinking specifically of the song "Rusty Cage") and a bit of Paw thrown in - definitely shades of "Jessie" detectable here.

Every song on the album could stand on its own and more importantly keeps you guessing as to what the next tracks' style is going to be.

Original riffs with strong vocals keep me listening again and again. Good work Shearer!

Gefällt mir gut, euer Sound. Die Stimme erinnert etwas an Nickelback - was ja nicht das Schlechteste ist. Wer wie ich auf dreckigen Rock steht, dem kann ich neben Shearer auch noch Houdini Roadshow empfehlen. Die beiden Bands müssten mal zusammen live auftreten. Das wär' ne feine Sache!
