I can see the comparison with an artist like Front 242. You could say the same of the likes of Front Line Assembly or Wumpscut, the point being that the overall sound and feeling retains stamina enough to sound almost trademark. Without being stereotypical, Deied have found a dark little niche in the market and fills it admirably well. Having said that, and now being presented with a track called Happy Hour, I question my own sense of authority, however unwieldy that may be. Something so many people aspire for.

The Secret no longer is, evidently shared in an ancient tongue that none of us can understand anymore, except through our soulful intuition. Might not be the best situation we could find ourselves in, but who knows maybe you could be the saviour of the world with this new found knowledge of being. Nicely balanced track though, quite positive but still serious. Anangel, seems to level out the playing field and suggest to me that demons are still angels in their own right, just a different team, though not so far related that it still retains a certain ambiguity to the outcome of such a consideration.

Feuriger Wind is a lovely industrial piece of work, dark flavours indeed, with that purgatorious feel to it. The technologically fixed demiurge versus the ghost in the machine, while solar wind peels your skin away, for more sweet suffering. The sixth track presents me with three possibilities semantically. There could also be a connection in interpretation, it certainly sounds like a Faustian pact is being made, but by how many people can the lord be petitioned by, while we can't even effectively manage the world wide web. Never mind the reality of hell on hearth. Either that or it is a spelling mistake, which could dampen my flame somewhat!-)

Outrospective is something I find myself painfully prone to. As well as introspection and trying to be the best that I myself can be, I also wonder of such injustices as a ten year old Lebanese child being shot dead for throwing a stone at a fully tooled-up Israeli army, for instance. Afghanistan would make a perfect pipeline to Iraq, tapping into poor, confused Russia's unlimited natural supplies. Where is the real terror happening? That's my outrospective, to cut a very long story short. But is it our sad fate? At the end of the day, there is one single solitary piece of solace, I am not alone, and that is the bonus. Brilliant album, thanks again.

Very cool cover. This is a really good dark techno album. Great beats. Kind of Front 242 from the 90's.
