Pain as a track is so harrowing in places that I'm listening to it a second time, to remind me what the two first tracks sounded like. The tribute to an Empress. Anneliese. Then, beautiful organ work, though quite mournful. Next everything seems to go crazy and a brighter tune comes into play, call and response.

Pain like I said is an intensely evocative track, and if that was it's aim, it is it's own veracity, as is the whole EP. There is also a curious sense of graceful honour that seems evident to me.

Death, at first seemed like an ambient, piano-based release from Pain. Then there is a change in tack, and the refrain makes me think of lives in spirals, transubstantiation of the soul. Death and Anneliese are the two stronger tracks in terms of positivity in a profound sense.

A truly moving array of musical expression. God bless and thank you for sharing.
