Description

Our self-produced debut album 'Home Recording Made Easy' was released in December 2005 and has a varied mixture of different styles, mostly rock. The songs range from poppy to quite heavy, some with piano. There are also two dance songs made by Chris on eJay and two bonus tracks: an older recording of our most famous song to date, 'Break The Seal', and 'Nathan Loves Dan', an improvised acoustic track with vocals by Guy.

N.B. We recommend using the Ogg Vorbis download rather than the MP3 one, because it's better quality and patent-free. If you're using Windows and you can't play Ogg Vorbis files, you can download the codec here.

Absolutely wonderful album!
Great rock, with influences from Radiohead and Muse.

Arrangements are nice, with good playing and pleasant voice. There are also some nice lo-fi/acid effects on the voice (reminds me of some Muse and Subsonica tunes).

Track 13, "Desert Monsoon (The Storm)", tends to the electro/dance.

Best tracks are: "Nothing in particular" for good rock, "Waiting At The Window" if you like surprises and "Dream", if you seek for some nice ballads.

This album is obviously just a couple guys having fun with a microphone, there seems to be little attention given toward providing the listener with an experience.

The review comparing them to radiohead is far off the mark, I actually enjoy radiohead immensely.

I found this album barely tolerable to listen through once. Hopefully your experience will differ.

Sound quality is lacking, but the title says why. Band on a budget, I understand. Not a big deal, but it is noticeable.
Vocals weren't the best on some tracks, sorry. Some of that could be from "home recording", but whatever.
I do like the feel and direction. Also, the guitar and piano are great.

Keep working at it.
