Album description
Pharmacopia’s fitting title and interesting play on words to mark sole band member Pete Dragotta return to what he calls his “personal music”. He never stopped making music during his absence from the online bedroom musician scene; he embarked on an opportunity that now has him creating music for commercial projects. The resulting album reflects the production and composing skills he refined during the past two years spent in the studio. The tunes are a focused fusion of electronica, acid jazz, and world flavors. It is also the debut of his playing the Morrisison Digital Trumpet (MDT). To Pete, this new midi trumpet controller plays more like a traditional brass horn. Combined with some legacy analog and physical modeling synths he states it will be awhile till he returns to playing his old horns.
