Album description

Pursuit of Happiness

The name of the album is a tribute to the movie with the same name. I pursuit the dream of being a professional composer.

Here you will find a few different styles and ways of score. Almost all with film music characteristics. Horror, Drama, Love, all with orchestral contest.

I would like to dedicate the album to my non-blood brother João C. Carvalho. He is are my best support.

Special thanks to Sérgio Lopes that performed and composed "Quadrados Eternos".

magical. i mean that word too!

All the tracks included within the album are just magical. The album is soothing and brings so many memories to mind whist listening to the inspiring tracks. The cover design for the album is lurring. It catches the eye of the listeners and suits the style of music being played. An excellent style has been used within the cover design with smooth flowing lines emphasises what the tracks within the album will be like. The album would sound absolutley superb if played live and a ticket would definetley be bought by many viewers including myself nif i may say so. Congratulations on a magical piece of music.

This album was a joy to listen to because there is no blurring of music, song to song, as each is unique and tells its own story. There is lots of variety in this album, all masterfully composed and thought out. Although all these pieces are capable of being a soundtrack for a film, they are all pleasant songs to listen to, to enjoy, relax or imagine or dream about somewhere else and some other time.
My favorite was "Pursuit of Happiness" because it was so uplifting it just made me happy. It was very orchistral with lots of power and interesting twists in the plot of the song. I also liked "I'm Afraid of the Dark" which reflected its name with a dark and scary tune. I also appreciated "When the Bards Dance" with its twirly flutes and light sounds and then the masterful drums and other instruments. Somebody's dancing - very lively and brightly, a very nice composition. "Mind Games" and "Gaia" were but exquisitely beautiful. And I liked "Once Upon a Time" for its uniqueness, kind of a clocky tick tocky sound, and it had almost a lullaby quality - very fun.
This is very good work and the artist should continue promoting his work.

A heavenly, magical, enchanting, emotional, heartfelt, musical sound-scape of sheer delight, that is beautiful, refined and captures the heart, mind and soul.As you listen and take on board all about this elegant, orchestral, instrumental, dark even, piano, flute, postrock, melodic-al,atmospheric-al, haunting even, dramatic, movie like epic. From start to finish. Wow.. truly never ever a dull moment is had or felt in this epic master piece of musical ability..
