Avec cet album j'ai voulu ou tenté de bâtir une option instrumentale qui dépasse la technicité au profit de l'ambiance, la démonstration au profit de l'émotion, a l'instar d'une bande son d'un film à tourner, à s'inventer , à construire pour soi, dans sa propre sale obscure.(ceux qui ont des films qui cherchent du son, contactez moi)

Même si cela n'apparait pas d'entrée à l'écoute, j'avoue avoir en sa réalisation, été influencé par des concepts du style Booker T and the MG's et son fabuleux guitariste Steve Cropper, ainsi que par certaines ambiances guitaristiques de jeff Beck ou de John Cippolina ainsi que du regretté Michael Karoli, guitariste de Can....bien sur je n'arrive pas à la cheville de ces quatre là, mais je pense travailler dans leur sens: j'essaye...Donc cet album solo fut un pur plaisir à enregistrer, un plaisir solitaire avec pour alliés, un clavier , une strato,un tambourin et quelques percus...votre écoute en sera la cerise sur le gateau...

Yep this stuff HAS IT. No idea what 'IT' is, but it is wearing sunglasses and is familiar with Huggy Bear. Instead of dribbling into bad melody this deceptively 'trivial' stuff keeps its toes out the the water and by unexpectedly delivering a closure modestly smacks you in the face with its kid gloves and challenges you to a duel each time you think it has gone off one some unrepairable melodic tangent.
