Album description

Recorded at home with Boss BR-1200. I had to use an electric guitar, because my little son wanted to have ROCKSONGS. But I like more the acoustic.

Excelente portada.

Without debasing the words about the first album "About the devil..." this one is more mature. Improved overall sounds (bass is basing more), filed songwriting and beautiful voices in every corner of a song... Needs a deal!

1. Town (HRO)
Directly a perfect Rainman – Song as an opener, including all ingredients: pretty bouquett of harmonies distributed well among guitars and synths, smooth rhythms, a fine dynamic structure and fine vocal-work.

2. Another years
Simply wonderful. More "straight" and forward than the one before and a fine balanced duet with the female voice. Good drive for "using another year"!

3. Little late
Declaration of love to one´s child, perfect soundtrack. Tone-painting! (Just the voice is a little to hissy and two strange deep frequency resonances in the refrain and solo part)

4. Why
Wow – this dramatic refrain let´s me always turning the volume up +10dB, sing along and than press the repeat-Button. Nothing more to say, but more tube into the e-guitar, please...
Catchy tune – use it in the morning! ;-)

5. Every Second
Good story-telling with enough "weird" elements to avoid being too much pop. Smooooth guitar lick!

6. Travel
Fine sarcasm between the "I have the need for jetlag", "It´s winter - I need sun" and "Have to have more flags on my globe"-mentalities. I feel entertained!

7.11 Crosses
A dark inventory. The fourths work perfectly for it, and the "rising monster from the neighbourhood", too. But the roaring car-sound has signs of wear over time, it would have been all said without it, hmm... Wents into pitch-black in the end, yes!

8. Rain
This one is a good example that I recognize the unique play style and sound within in first seconds when using the mp3-library on random - "ah, Rainman to come".
The repetitive "rain", supported by the percussive striking or didgeridoo-something sound, paints it a little prayer-like.

9.Gloss
"Gloss" cools the album to its end fine down and has a balancing mixture: contrary to the lyrics the song breaths somehow placable. More quiet, purer instrumentation - whistling seems to be allowed again?! ;-) ... The song grows from one repeat to the next one!

Thank you for the wounderful moments I had with all of your music!
