As soon as I had finished listening to this album, I thought 'wow, they have some serious skills'. After another listen, here are some impressions:
good points:
- lots of double bass peddling that works with the music
- lovely guitar sound
- catchy guitar riffs, sort of like lamb of god cross bloodbath in style.
bad points:
- Vocals are good, but a death metal growl might sound better and more appropriate to the music. Or even a mix in a black dahlia murder style :)
Favourite song: blank army. It just cries out 'I can drum, strum and sing' ;) The alternate voice from the left and right sounds really good as well.
The Album cover is a bit basic, perhaps next time you could look to find someone who does album covers. It's just a bit plain, though the effect it gives is good, if a little straight forward.
This could sound awesome live. I would love to hear it in real life :D
