A great talent and a great album

A surprise find, as I wasn't looking for music in this genre at all. Kristen's voice is captivating, full of interesting little inflections and vocal twists, and the tracks on this album feature many cute passages and sparks of intensity that keep you listening.

And she can really sing --- her voice is uncannily like that of one US multi-platinum chart star whom I won't name in case Kristen doesn't care for the comparison (and I think Kristen is better), but that's US$XX million of value in the Creative Commons right there. :-)

A very nice album, Kristen. It's on my quality works list, and I'll be recommending it to friends who are searching in this genre. My rating of only 8 reflects that this music is barely on the edge of my musical tastes, but I can appreciate music outside of my tastes as well, and frankly Kristen deserves much higher.

A great talent, and a very good album.

PS. After a week of repeat listening, I have now upped my score to 9. Kristen has succeeded in turning a fly-by reviewer into an out-of-usual-genre fan. Her voice is lovely, and so personal. :-)

Kristen, I loved your vocals, they are sweet, captivating, interesting,honest and open, and show affection for the lyrics you sing, so perfectly. Every track, was as good as the last, just gone bye. And the music was simply perfect for each and every track I heard. I'm very surprised you have not been picked up yet by a record company..

Just one question. How does this "Young" lady not have a record deal with a major label? I've got a feeling we'll be hearing alot more of Kristen Young. Great album!!

Great vocals and guitar/drums, catchy melody.

The album has a great start with "Alone" and "It's my life", and stays that until the the last second. :D

Very nice vocals and music. This manages to avoid the "cookie cutter" effect that when a band/artist gets a really good sound, but then does a whole album that all sounds almost exactly alike. These are all delightfully distinctive songs with a good degree of creative diversity.

favorite Tracks.. all!, why ? good voice, soundfeeling and singsang.. or how i can say it..

....like pop who have manny feeling witrh a femail voice ...

design of cover.. not so realy.. it's more as only a normal classic guitar... it's a Goup who produsing the sound, not alone the femaile on the cover... it's like marketing and dont mus bee, the sound i think, play the Group and the femail Voice is a Part of it..

my feeling.. it's a good sound...

All in all she has a good thing going. Good guitar and vocals. The mix is well put together and the instumentation and vocals are well performed. Amazing voice.
