Album description

This EP is about spaces. Both geographical and mental. It is basic and unpolished but I hope that it gives clear and simple sound picture, ambience, feeling. Bus to Lund is oldest here (2003) the rest is from 2007/2008.

Ambient sounds that transport you to a place cold and dark. Intriguing, relaxing ... my favorite infinity.

I found Balkan, hauntingly beautiful, yet dark and intriguing to listen to and enjoy. It echoed in my minds eye.. And I saw the images that went with this piece of music.

Vat iz diz, elegant, classy, and skilful done, up beat, funky, cool sounding, with a good mix and layers in it, well placed and timed. Let alone a good rhythmical beat to it.

Infinity, interesting, intriguing, thought provoking, stirring, drawing you in more and more. Good use of vocals and music. Nice steady rhythmical, structure used. Great sounding. Keeps you interested from start to finish.

Bus To Lund, haunting in away, yet ambient, trance like, stimulating as well. with odd touches of jazz, industrial, echoing. noise and keyboard. Sticks in your mind but in a good way.Love the ending to this track. classy and stylish.

Burma 2007,sinister, moving, intriguing, captivating, beautiful, spacey, dark even at times, fascinating and so much more to this.

The first track, Balkan, comes over as cold and bleak. Nature experimenting in its own environment with little squiggles of synthetic construction. Vat iz Diz, more up tempo, the track iz wot it iz, which iz kool!-) Infinity is a suitably big sound to it, expansionistic and pleasant on the ear to. Bus to Lund, trundled along with a tribal sense to it and develops as this bus journey might well have been experienced. Arrival was very cautious. Then, Burma 2007, dark, sinister movements and throbbing pulse of events. A deep resonation of subterranean drumming, following and complimented by twisting, dark melodies. Then the noises become almost overwhelming to calm towards the end, almost as a narrative for the whole piece.
This was all-in-all a good little EP. I look forward to new work with anticipation and it was good to see the 'experimentation/improvisation' held in check, it makes the music more palatable.
Thanks. :-)
