Fire

Very profound, sombre kind of music. It can create the ambience for a man who's hitting the road with his machine and getting ready to watch the world swish by as he cuts the wind on his iron horse. The mood the tracks create is sombre but not meditative. Not for someone looking to soothe his nerves.

Well, for me this kind of music it's a little to dark. But i have to say that the vocal part it's quite not right with the music. Maybe this genre it's not for me, but i've been asked to write a review, so here i am...

Thumbing through the reviews this EP has already received, I would say that this artist is definitely doing *something* right. I was asked to provide a review... so here goes...

Overall the sound was very hollow. There just isn't much going on. The vox follow a slow melodic rhythm that doesn't provide much in the way of variation. The songs have little traditional form and the lyrics don't tell much of a story or really feel artistically attached to their respective background music. While listening, I found myself searching for substance either in musical form or through the lyrics.

Production was good. I would of preferred the vox to be a bit drier. I found the echo/delay/reverb to be overpowering at points and it seemed to accent the "big empty room" feeling present throughout the EP.

Talented musicians. This just isn't for me.

Hihihihi. I like it, I like it, and very good sound. But it is a bit too clean for me, but that's just me. If you would add a bit more drugs, a few more drops of spice, some freakout circus and scaryness, some more poison apple snake Eros, and scream to your listeners an invitation to the dark side of Eden to lick wine off each other, then I would refil my silver chalice with plantblood wine and go buy your album for my last money. All in all I am enjoying listening to the songs of Fire, I just want MORE, MORE MORE MORE of xxx. Don't be shy, freak out! And more importantly, don't listen to me, listen to yourself :D
