Whenever I see the artist name 'zero-project' I know that I will be blessed by harmonies and melodies that take me further into the instrumental realm of the scene I happen to be writing at the time (I am an author). Zero-Project is a must have in any instrumental library, and it is a favorite of mine when writing my historical/inspirational romances.

Minimalistic neoclassical instrumental album. It is characterized by beautiful melodies, which are - unfortunately - wrapped in plastic pseudo-orchestral accompaniment. Not particularly good electronic samples of winds and strings lower the positive impression generated by high composing skills of the artist. I would love to hear it re-recorded by a real orchestra - these tunes fully deserve it, as they deserve 10 points on Jamendo scale.

For the tunes as they are recorded now I give 8 points, which is still not bad rating. Let it stand as a proof of quality of this work. Every note is exactly at its right place, so that combined with others they form a perfect melody striking the listener with a full power of its haunting beauty.

How come this guy doesn't write scores to the Hollywood blockbusters? Zimmer, Horner and Williams would have a strong rival.

No one . .. the music is simply THERE for everyone who needs love . .. .. .. and compassion .. .. .. you hear it in the music and as it settles itself around your shoulders like a shawl . . . you feel yourself float away in comfort and peace . .. his piano pieces, the moments, the interludes are like magic where they lift you above the fray and fill you with the delicate ambiences of melody . . .

Although the music was tempered, slow and sad . .. it suited my mood and fitted in like an old friend . . and when you need an old friend . . music is always there for you and this music is especially good .... so when you feel attacked by the harsh cruel world and deserted by your last friend . . . look to the peaceful songs that let you know that you are not alone . ..
