DYSTOPIA is Anthemon's second full lenght album, released in 2004 by Thundering Records. It's the first record on which the singing is operated by Loïc Malassage.
Anthemon was, at the time, categorized by both fans and press as a gothic metal band with female vocals, since the first album "Arcanes" was pretty much in that style. That's why DYSTOPIA was coldy welcome after its release. This album was so different than what people expected that maybe, many didn't realize the true potential of this record.
DYSTOPIA is not exactly a concept album but every song is dealing with a single topic, described from a different view. These views all have in common a description of a terrible dystopic society, largely inspired by the real world for most of them.
This album features some of the band's live perfomance favourite songs, such as "Foretell Omega", "Serene Eves" or "La Chute De L'Architecte".
