Building up of forces...

There is a lack of immediacy, I think, with this music. It is very much a single-minded piece of work. But hard it must be to capture the essence of something so alien, to most of us, and assimilate it through creativity into a coherent sense of some stunning arrangements. Sadly, mostly shorter than I would have enjoyed to tolerate gladly. However, as the album develops there is a sharper focus on things and I think that essentially the ends are definitely justified by the means. Nice album.
