NICE THINGS SAID

"I love your music!" Robin Olson, violinist and composer (Eric Clapton, Elton John, Red Hot Chillie Peppers)

"I'm completely blown away by your Album-A-Month project! That's amazing!!! I'm listening to some songs on the music player now... REALLY impressive! I look foward to spending more time listening and following your progress," Swapmeet Louie, guitarist and keyboard player for Bo Bice.

“Possibly the hardest working man in the music biz,” Rock N Roll Ain’t Fun

"Love your stuff Baby. Blaze-on!" Dana Gaynor, top US guitar player.

“Awesome song writing,” Najam Sheraz.

"Great songs! Digging your work man. An Album a month.. for crying out loud... when do you sleep Mr Dylan?" Liam Gerner, singer-songwriter, discovered by Peter Gabriel

“Sounds great,“ Jimmy Zavala, legendary harmonica player for The Eurythmics, Etta James, Tom Petty, Rod Stewart, Bon Jovi, Yes, Barry White, Dr. Dre, and many more.

"Wow! Guess you can write! I am not that fast - my lyrics take me weeks but love your classic rock feel," Alana Grace, singer-songwriter with Colombia Records.

"I love the ballad (of Leon Payne). I tell you what! Daddy would have loved your originality." Myrtie, Leon Payne's daughter. Leon Payne's songs have been covered by Elvis, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, U2, and many more.

"I love Wright's music and work ethic," Alexander Nevermind.

"Great music. You've a wonderful voice," Betsy Hammer, American singer, songwriter and actress - who's worked with Neil Young, Adam Sandler, and Christopher Walken.

And finally...

By releasing new material every month, Sean Wright could be setting himself up for a fall. Yet with tracks as catchy as those currently on his MySpace music page, who can complain?
'Open Your Mind' is a strong song, with a driving guitar edge that propels him along full throttle, and his vocal delivery is suitably brash. With 'Walking Pretty' showing no signs of slowing down, it's a great start.
'Love's Alive' and 'Impossible' again show talent, especially with the latter, which appears to be his most popular track due to its impressive high number of plays. Sean Wright has an innovative and original idea, and a style to match.' East Midlands Talent Radio

I've been listening to this album for over a week now, and I love it. It took a couple of listens to get into it. The songs are strong melodically, and the dual guitars work really nicely. I like The Deceiver and Fixed Like Glue the best, but in all honesty the whole album is strong from start to finish. Wright delves into betrayal, love, and loss once again, giving his versatile voice a rock-edge this time.

Yes, it's very different to his softer acoustic, folk album Dylan's Dead. But that's no bad thing. It showcases his wide songwriting ability, and superb muscianship. This album is a real grower.

My fav tracks are The Deceiver, Mess, and Fixed Like Glue. The lyrics deliver a real gutsy, punch of life,s ups and downs. Sounds like nothing I've heard, and yet there's something familar about the sound. Cover's okay. Live? man, I cranked this up on my little pc speakers and almost blew them. I can;t believe this album is by an indie artist and is free! Thanks a lot.

I really enjoyed this album. Wasn't sure what to expect when I chose to listen to this. My favorite song on this album is Fixed Like Glue. I could see myself listening to this kind of music daily. I like that it really flows well.

That is one sure thing. I love about Sean, you never know what you, are going to get next, with him in his musical interpretations and skills and talents and that exceptional strong bewitching throaty manly vocals of his. Like this album. It really if raw, powerful, stimulating and dynamic and meaningful awesome, varied and cleverly done. And takes you right inside the heart and mind of someone. And the people who are close to them. That have visas and devils and demons within them and make them do things they wished they would not do. Like a drug addict, alcohol or thief or just a bad one in general to which ever one means more to you or have seen for yourself with someone close to you. It was hypnotic, powerful, destructive, honest, open and loyal and defiant in explaining and telling you the story of all. How one can self destruct and be death before our very eyes..

Sean Wright is a tour deforce to be admired and appauded. This album is the business. So damn cool, so damn hot rock. Really good vocals (again), and the tunes stick like glu in the mind. I have listened to almost all of his albums here on Jamendo and I can say without hesitation: Wright is an awesome, important songwriter. Go tell everyone who loves good songs, delivered with class!
