First track starts off lovely and soon picks up an easy beat and rhythm, with sounds resounding. There's the odd little flourish of synthetic noise, almost vocal. Nicely structured for the genres declared. Then, Deep Space, beat and suitable noises with an interesting overlay echoing into the depths of the aether. It seems to calm down towards the end. Nice electronica!-) Dreamcatcher is almost lo-fi and a nice sounding track, still has that sense of the further reaches of existence, e.g. the dream-world being as infinite as deep space, if not more so. Good improvisation in places that are apt. Well constructed, with nice subtle variations as the track progresses. Emma On The Wall is nice stuff, rhythm mixed in with the structures of sound and other noises, making it a good blend of electronica. Still quite chilled, there are a few darkish patches in amongst it, or is that my imaginative ears? Ending in a veritable void of fading noises. The last track, starts with the rhythm, a similar structure but different synthetic noises overlaid, nice synth noises! This track, with its haunting melody is verging on minimalism, which a lot of ambient electronic does. Here it works for me because the tracks develop nonetheless, instead of just being the same all the way through. Overall, a good mini-album, I think there's a lot of promise here, so keep twiddling those knobs!-)
