Lightning strikes...

As for the mOUVEMENT 1, I have to say I love thunderstorms, they clear the air and rebalance the atmospheres electrical polarity brilliantly. Such is the perfection of natural phenomena. The track is a static testimony to that. And, as the storm abates the music comes into play, in its wonderfully experimental way. Almost occidental, though maybe that's accidental. Very abstract, but I have come to expect that from this artist. Then, lo and behold, as the air is cleared, the bird come out again, with their meaningful twittering.

mOUVEMENT 2 starkly contrasts with an electrical storm of its own and is paced with a piano note repeatedly marking its rhythmic boundary. Again, the sense of static is with the listener, crackling beautifully away, as a variety of sounds come and go to add to the flow. A subtractive version of the former tract of minimal musical mayhem. This time it ends with the heavy dripping of faulty guttering. Lovely stuff, very refreshing.
