this is a rather incomplete collection of music, some of it is several years old...some of it was made just recently.....there's really no point to the "album" other than to share something with everybody  that is better than my first album which i apologize for. if you happen to listen to this, you are most welcome to tell me what degree entertainment or discomfort it brings you. thanks.

Released teusday september the ninth.

Life Sucks Then You Die and unfortunately for some people, some of the time, it does. However, the track starts quite brightly, in a supernova kind of way. Beat is established and confident, with nice voice over. Nice big synth noise and clatter of percussion add to the content. It's cool, it gets the point across on more than one level I think, which is the true aim of artistic expression, after all! Nice interlude before returning to the main theme. Good track.

One Thousand has a wonderful start, love that noise. Then it all comes in and bang, the track is up on its' feet. Good sound to this one. Kaum For Piano, another good start. Liked the little diversion and then silence and reversion, nice touch. The second half was interesting in a slightly different way, liked the switch, very subtle. Last Rush is actually nicely paced, and a pretty interesting structure that truthfully evolves into a beautiful piece of music.

Green Sky (Version 1) reverberates and slowly makes its mark, adding rhythmic structure and melodies, interweaving nicely. Casually paced and with plenty of room for variations within such a strong structure and, sometimes more profoundly, without. It builds firmly towards the centre, a crescendo perhaps, because it eases back, to its more laconic pace. Really liked this one, made me feel like I was on holiday for some strange reason. Acausal is nicely put together interlude, quite tasty from the middle in particular.

Squared, it has to be said, is a nicely rounded piece of music. I love the melody and overall attitude, like squaring up perhaps? Well paced and spaced, with a mint solo effort. Excellent stuff. Pleasant Discourse carries itself with the proper etiquette in mind, it's quite a peaceful number. That kind of diversity is proof of a skill I don't own myself. This is good, solid, electronic based music fused very well in places. Good balance and poise, even for such an apparently casual piece.

Curmud starts with lovely sounds, and then starts to add more. Nice, slightly scattered rhythm to go with the gentle melodies, sometimes mixing, sometimes going solo. There's a lighter melody layer that reminds me of some classical spring piece of music, almost like postmodernistic chamber-music. It picks the pace up about three and a half minutes in, gets livelier and it works its way out nicely. About half way through there is a marked change in pace and structure, feels like walking on crutches! It's almost like the music had to get slower as an unexpected variation, intentional experimentation? Nice!-) Loved the way it picked itself up again towards the end, done well I think. Nice little reprise at the very end.

I Am The Night Rider leads you astray to start with, but soon the pathway becomes clearer. I like the slightly off-kilter nature of the melody and easiness of the beat and percussion. Temperance is a gorgeous, peaceful piece of music, with a lovely ambience to it. Good mood food! However, we end with a Bad Day. I love the sound of it, and it transcends a wordy explanation of the crowded head problem. Nice little piece.

Aside from the fact this is "a rather incomplete collection of music", I actually think it works very well together as an album, regardless of the disparities of time and movement and mood. What I feel reminds me of an essay I wrote for my law studies. A lot had gone on in my life, and the last thing I cared about was the 'stupid' essay. I wrote it, instinctively I think. It got published in a journal. So, sometimes we can hit the nail on the head. Good shot!-)
