A lovely intro to The First Emotion, piano and scintillating synth overlay. Dreams starts well and takes the listener into a strong rhythmic build up, reinforced by classic synthetic layers. Melody comes in, to pause briefly with a lilting piano. These are nice positive dreams, something I could do with more of. Very strongly positive already. Guitars and heavy drums come into play for Cyberdreams and fuses synthetic noises well. Blossoming into a profoundly airy and spacious track. Virtuality being almost infinite with possibilities. Eternity is almost a demonstrable fugue, it's those cyberdreams!-) Topped off with subtle, but well-balanced percussion and rhythm.
Reality brings in strings, working with piano keys to please the senses and soothe the soul, on the whole. Then into a very dance oriented track. Then it finds its space in the chill room to calm things down again and then back to the beat for the finale. The Hope has a lovely percussive start, brings in piano and a soaring synthesis of sounds. Nice track. Similar structure with a piano break in the middle, quite sonorous as it rebuilds itself back to the beginning backwards. Even nicer track! Urban Mind is just brilliant, nicely constructed and employed to the best of its abilities and boundaries.
E-id, is a cool piece of electronic music, with fine flourishes to enhance the experience. Oriental is very obviously so, kind of like a far eastern version of the previous track, similar structure but with different instrumentation. A deep resonance and scything synthetic layer introduce the listener to Origin, back to our beginning. It breaks out into another piano dominated track, maintaining a previous theme, but then it's called Origin so what should one expect? Nice harmonics, works well, although it doesn't really probe any depths. We are left to finish with Darkness Days as the outro. A plaintive piece of guitar work. All in all, pretty good stuff on the surface of things.
