Album description

Recorded 1985-1989 in Gothenburg, Sweden; in studio, live, at home and for swedish broadcast.

Personnel: Magnus Berg, Dag Sveréus, Peter Söfelde, Dag Widmark.

Desto Lindström was formed 1979 in Gothenburg by Magnus Berg (acoustic guitar & vocals), Dag Sveréus (acoustic guitar & vocals) and Peter Söfelde (bass guitar). A drum-machine was later added to the lineup. They soon became a popular live act known as a singer/songwriter group delivering clever lyrics with a punk-attitude and a healthy dose of humor. In 1983 the album "Med anledning av den våta snön" (Last Buzz Record co) was released. A fourth member Dag Widmark (keyboards & other instruments) joined 1985 and the band continued recording new material and performing live. But in spite of a large number of new songs a second album was never made and in 1989 the band split. Now some of these songs can be heard on this compilation, the "second album".

Thought Provoking, Intriguing, Interesting, Happy At Times Sounding,

I really enjoyed this album, made me smile, feel relaxed and chilled out,let alone happy,and experience a really good time, listening to this very catchy, entertaining,thought provoking, intriguing,interesting, yet pleasing music to my ears. And at times captivating as well. A lovely folk, pop,rockish type album. Filled with good acoustic guitar music as well.
