Mighty fine surf beach rock

I don't really like to rate albums with numbers, but today I will give this one a 10/10.

Get a ghettoblaster with this record tuned to the max and boogie down to the beach. An instant sun tan for your ears. They have more free music on their website: http://www.rockisdead.org/ (only 128kbps MP3 though, so I hope they will be released on Jamendo too).

If you like the Pulp Fiction soundtrack, then grab this right now.

Fast-paced, vibrant and not just a tad kookie. Great if you're looking for a bit of retro cool stylin' that's just a little bit edgy. Think Tarantino movies, leopard-skin smoking jackets and Tiki bars. Technically very professional, they do the genre proud. Album cover is standard fare but certainly captures the vibe.

I listened to your 3 songs that are included in the computer game SuperTuxKart 0.7:

It is a racing game and the music I think really fits to the racing tracks. Those tracks (and probably more of your album) are filled with action and adrenalin. My personal favourite of those 3 is "Easy Job".

Half of the songs are worth a try

I don't like that crashing-scratching sound of the electric guitar, however it's pretty hard to find boogie from today. The album could be much better without these noises, because otherwise, as for the rythim and melody it makes my leg move. But still, what is this hrrshssshhrrrsh tone? Come on, proove me, that you don't need that to make me feel in a rock-and-roll bar! Yes, and some human voice could be welcome.
Anyway, Easy job bings me out of my job! :) jeah, I definitely liked that!

There are many pretenders in the surf music genre, but this group is the real thing. They have an original sound while remaing true to the surf intention. They are professionals who can truly execute, with very good recording quality. Clearly the top surf band on this site.

Fantastic, high energy, music, that just like the pulp fiction sound track... just learn the dance moves (joking) and your on your way to a great experience checking this awesome, album out. Everything just flows perfectly in this music, the guitars, drums,A great release of styles from rockabilly to country, surf and rock. Great value as its free, fun, enjoyable, and great on the ears, and you can dance to it, if your into this type of music.
