I am happy to hear a profound consistency in a paniq album, and luckily one that I generally like. This is proof again of a postmodern blending of sources of sound and rhythm. I love Cubeworld, nice and intense. Then along comes a track, called Trotzdem, that screws your ears to the back of your skull and firmly gains your attention. Then you have Psychedelic Gangsta which stuns you with its beautiful, strong structures and movements. And so on the album goes, each in its own healthy way part of a larger configuration of skill in overall conception. As for expression, Jillybean has to be the icing on this particular cake. Fantastic stuff.
