Album description

This is my first CD, released in 2004 and remixed in 2008. I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing with this whole music-making thing back then, so this came out as a fun, eclectic and unpolished collection of acoustic pop tunes (with a few odd surprises thrown in). Enjoy!

Another wonderful gift by Josh Woodward

As in most works by Josh Woodward this album features great vocals complex but very well assembled instruments and great variety in moods and topics.
Very interesting songs, really pleasant sounds.
I'm glad another one of the Woodward albums is out :).

Josh, really does know how to give a mature, insightful very well balanced insightful entertaining time as you savour and truly enjoy checking out his albums. His meaningful articulation of a manly voice. And lyrics that are story telling of emotions and feelings in every day situations. And great earthy acoustic guitar music and nice bass from the drum beats. To give it edge and tradition of a man with a mission. To move the world with his voice and music and most of all lyrics. That he expresses and shares his greats gifts of all with us the world and his listeners.

I took a listen to Troublemaker. It is funny! He sings so fast and the music is a little weird with the song, but it works.

My favourite must be "Wake Up". I use it to wake me up every morning. It's a very nice song and it seems I never get tired of this specific song.

"Incoherent" is a nice song which I personally like. I played "Troublemaker" for a relative which I think he quite liked, and it reminded him of a real troublemaker in his life.

The only thing that comes to mind regarding "Dust" is that the style of the music reminds me of the melody of "What shall we do with the drunken sailor". There are a few songs I didn't fancy, "Midnight Sun", but maybe it's because I was not in mood for a slow rhythm song or I haven't had interest in the lyrics or understood/interpreted them.
