Album description

"7 Fool Moons" is a project born in september 2007 and it was originally a bit of a new concept of an album: it was a work-in progress thing, one new track released at every full moon. We had just left our label because we believed there was no point, anymore, in trying to sell music: we wanted our songs to be free. Since we were finally liberated from the physical limitations of the CD and distribution, we thought we might take things a little further... we spread the "album" through a period of time, so that it would grow up with us and give a chance to other "companions" to join us in our venture. The project was to last 7 months and, during that time, things worked much better than we expected: the amount of our listeners boosted and we found ourselves, for our first time, confronting an international audience. We also had the pleasure of having fine artists and professionals joining forces with us, just because they liked the spirit behind the project. Part 1 of the "Superbonuspack" is a compendium of the original work, for all those who missed it and those who missed bits of it. For all the others, there is Part 2: a series of previously unreleased remixes of the moon songs, by various european dj/producers... get ready to groove!

When I listen to this album. particularly when the lady sings. I feel like I have been covered naked in chocolate and my soul mate is licking it off. From head to toes. And the feelings Iam feeling are what I am experience as I listen to this album. Pure and simply that. wink.

Bell'album!
Complimenti!

well what a good album . good vocal, good music, i would like to hear more. banging tunes?

This is my second one, the first wiped clean when I went off sight for a momement-so frustrating! In any event, the abbreviated version. Lots of great production sounds like rhythm second, drums bass mebbe guitar were recorded analogue than mixed with overdubs on digital DAW. Just guessing. But those tones you got were excellent. I could do without the trendy collaborative remix, rapper guess star bullshit thats swamped the music world like a bad soulless tsunami. Thankfully the version of anlbum I listened to had little of that trendy b.s. loop and cheap hook technique was is so obviously a play for street cred by most who do it. Sonic Youth's Kool Thing on Goo (1991-1992'sh) set a high bar for spoken inserts and creative enhancement.
Overall however a lovely unheavy but quite enjoyable run of tunes with an odd and I hope ungratuitous lunar cycle motif that I've yet to connect with. I would love to hear more from youse guys and will look for ya around. Your singer is one of the few stylists to take Sade (a woefully understood and respected singer) onto a rock tip and I think it works beautfiully. Just please, please, please don't fall into 'we're so cool' alternative pace setting bunch of clowns which so many of these kind are or qucikly become, Cranberries nothwithstanding. I have placed Seven Fools onto my must listen rotisserie. Stay true to yourself, forget trends and 'scenes', fuck 'em do what you do best.

A hope I haven't been to obnoxious.

With respect and cordiality,

Not soul as in Soul Sista, but more like emotion, passion and all that other sh!t lol

Seriously tho, i was first attracted by the anime-like cover; it was nice but when i listened to the first track, this was how i felt:

It was like those electro songs that work wonders when combined with cocaine...but it wasn't all i-wanna-forget-my-troubles-i'm-useless electro but it has a...'Zing' to put it simply

It has something...i dunno what, but while the electro slows you down, gets you all digital on the inside, this 'thing' sparks a wave of playfulness inside you. This contrasting sensation that was created was...addictive *grin*

I absolutely love it; the only reason i'm not giving it a 10 coz i usually go for the opposite; more emotion with a zing of apathy but you dudes (dudettes) rock my socks !

Fluydo’s superpack is one of the nicest surprises of this year. The tunes on the first CD have been already presented, but it’s an extremely brilliant idea to gather them in order to understand the whole concept behind the tracks. All of Fluydo’s Moons are quite interesting, but my favourites are Moon 1 (the only one with male vocals – very much similar to Roger Walters’ one), Moon 3 (the one that resembles Goldfrapp the most, but at the same time is the most catchy one on the record), and Moon 7 (a pleasant surprise for the end of the album; extremely engaging trumpet samples and very smooth melody). If you like a clash between Moloko, Goldfrapp and contemporary electro-rock, Fluydo’s record is definitiely for you.
The only shame is the cover. Sinlge covers were very much recognizable, and the current one not so much. One point down, but still it is nine and a truly recommendable piece of music.
