The first track is fantastically passionate and vibrant. Sous la Lune, is beautifully balanced, even with that tenor sax sound that can be so overbearing sometimes, here it all works so wonderfully well together. I love how the 'classic' sounds have there own say, and the blending is seamless. Then Alma Mia continues to create a variegated mix of sound sources and is structured perfectly, truly delectable from start to finish. And to finish off this fine repast of a musical meal, Au Petit Bonheur, a finely blended and amazingly well congealed together, as if it should have always been that way, with such diversity in origins of musicality. With a slightly abrupt ending, but how could you want it to not end. All good things must reach it, whether we like it or not. Overall, a brilliant little album. I told you I was looking forward to it but it was beyond all my expectations. Very nice work indeed.
