I am not a mucisian but I know what I like. This is a great album and I look forward to may hours of enjoyment from this album and this composer. I would compare Frozen Silence to pianist such as George Winston and Rob Cutlow

Your own description is succinct and I will add just a few words.

The melancholy is omnipresent, contemplative, introspective--much like the solitude during winter I imagine you tried to describe with your sounds. Of course, it is late July in the northern hemisphere from which I now write this review, but your album's mood is no less effective. Absolutely beautiful playing. I especially enjoyed the guitar pieces.

I hope the loneliness and lamentations expressed here have brought you some solace from their quiet accumulation upon your spirit--like so many unique snowflakes falling in silence while we sleep our sorrows away until tomorrow.

Glad to see you're on here. I like a lot of the stuff from Mikseri, and I hope more of it pops up on here (thus getting distributed to a larger audience).

There are many musicians who has a great playing technique but their music has got no soul. You are quite the opposite. Maybe your technique is simple and sometimes even amateurish but you have that magical touch that so many musicians lack. Your beautiful soul reflects in that music. Good easy listening album.

For a few days I listen to nothing but a "Dream of a Butterfly".
