The cover pictures of your albums realy match their mood.

There are many musicians who has a great playing technique but their music has no soul. You are quite the opposite. Maybe your technique is simple and sometimes even amateurish but you have that magical touch that so many musicians lack. Your beautiful soul reflects in that music. Good easy listening album.

This is great music.
Thanks for sharing it.
This is the master of playing with silence in music. Leaving out as many notes as possible without giving up the music played with them.

It reminds me of Erik Satie ( played by REINBERT DE LEEUW a famous dutch piano player.)

This is not for this record only but for all the records played by Matti Paalanen.

I also have to admit your soul reflect from within this exceptional album. Beautiful compelling and bewitching. Tender and respectful.

I love this artist. I have downloaded two of the albums now. It reminds me a little of Explosions In The Sky, which has been one of my favorite bands lately. It is such pretty music. I want to fall asleep to it every night.

There's a reason that simplicity is beauty, and you captured that element beautifully. Well done- i love this album and how soulful and relaxing it is.

Clean, strong, thoughtful piano. Lovely melodies - rich with talented creation - partly sparkling clear yet softly cloudy with nuances - poetry by piano note. "Remains of the Day" with the fire crackling and the guitar leading was my cozy favorite - more optimistic than the others. Beautiful music to daydream with, to cuddle up by the fire and enjoy.

Heart of Winter is melancholic, yet so lively album. The music is lightly layered and consists of a good mix of guitar and piano. It is minimalistic and refreshing.

It puts you in reminiscent and reflective mood.

My favourite track of the album is "commemoration", although "Winter" is outstanding too.

The album art suits the music well.

I would suggest you reduce the bass and turn the treble up slightly on your equalizer before giving this one a listen.
