Perhaps its a belated Diwali or even an early Christmas in the musical world. A new star has born on the scene and that too with a bang!
It's a bit hard to digest the fact that a guy associated with a much harsher and darker industrial rock music genre can, so flawlessly create lovely and unique pieces of musical fantasies with a touch of calmness in it.
These two beauties rock man! Even though this Demo is only around 6 minutes long, it packs a punch and would ring the ear drums of a larger section of population being in Hindi.
Demo One might have only two tracks but they display the immense hard work and time devoted by this artist. It's not easy for a single person to take care of the so many parts of music. But Sifar has achieved it all in these tracks with perfection. I salute you comrade!
The vocals on both the tracks are clear, lovely and dreamy. The lyrics are well constructed. The music is cool and pleasing. Thoughtfully made project. Chal Diye begins with a heart warming guitar work and then delves into an equally emotional voice of the artist. The hats in this track are pretty much similar with that of one of Etherdust tracks (just a minor observation).
Roko Na Mujhe has an all together different mood. A rather determined sense in the music. This one is a jewel. Awesome track! I don't have any words to describe it! Just sing to the tune and enjoy!!
Overall the complete package was an eye opener for me. A star rising. A few more tracks and this will be transformed into a complete album. The audio is studio quality. It was a pleasurable morning. With brain storming Economics to study early in the morning, its always exciting for surprises like these to happen which are very very rare. Wow what a morning it was....Alfred Webber...who's that?...mmm...Sifar.....that's better...aaaaaaah...

Very refreshing music considering it comes packed with hindi lyrics. In India we do not get to hear something that does not sound like everything else very often. If it's rock they'll make it too contemporary or else you mostly get those same old film music that is all beat and no music mostly these days. Roko Na is really great and I hope when you come out with full album, it will be as refreshing and rocking as Roko na. Chal Diye is also good slow ballad. Wish you success with your full album.
Fantastic, theres a burst of energy in ur first song "Roko na mujhe"...after a long tym felt fresh.
for me music is not just lyrics and instruments, its about the vibrations that you create in the listeners intellect and appeal their senses, and with that u were spot on to a good extent.
BRAVO.
I've heard your songs back-t0-back...thanks for such wonderful music...all the best with the rest of the album...ur going to go places...good luck
As you listen you find out this guy is talented, he carries the music and the lyrics with passion and power and the music is enchanting and lovely.Let alone beautiful played. Two good, really well performed and produced demo rock, pop, alternative tracks.
This guy has talent and we need to hear more from him on Jamendo real soon.
I have only gripe. Just two demoes :/...
Chal Diye for me takes the cake. Especially the vocals.
As for Roko Na Mujhe, the lyrics are great. I can identify with it.
