This is VERY original music. Yes, with any artist you can compare with other voices and tunes, but this is far from anything cliche - great, strong, powerful voice and very moving music. Highly recommended!
"No Disguise is an amazingly tight record that will please fans of female-led alternative rock music. The production quality is great and there's enough variety between slow as well as fast songs to enjoy." FrostClick.com
Great album! Thanks for sharing
A unique, strong, clear, compassionate and proud articulate and charismatic voice this lady has.
That projects such joyous sentiments to her listeners and feelings of entertainment, bliss and entertainment as well.
That goes beyond just a good singer and entertainer at that. She shows determination, character of commitment and love to full her dreams and passion for just singing and giving to others like us.
ps beautiful music that surround her voice..fitting and perfect.. A delightful album done by a wonderful lady...talent and clever...
but I prefer to "waste" my time always as possible, with what I like 'cause life is what I feel, right this instant... not before, nor after. And if what has been is worth for something, then let's make of it a form of learning, so we can enjoy more of the constant passing moment, that is life.
- Why the hell, is this guy Carybe, writing all this "crap" upon this album as a review anyway!?... some may ask. -
This is a fantastic musical album, from a very gifted female singer, even if it's just my opinion and I don't care what could have been, if it was something else different because it simply... isn't.
Music nowadays (and I'm referring mostly to the commercial circuit) is a complete waste of time, not to use the "s" word. Pardon me, it's just my opinion.... when I listen (which I don't) to some of the actual "music stars" on the media, I can't help wondering what went wrong... and the majority of the young people I know, can't seem to be able to listen to more than extracts of musics... the image is more important than musical capacities and decent albums, as a whole, are indeed more and more a rarity...
So, lets rejoice here... let's throw some fireworks... because me, my musical ignorance and my insignificant opinion says that this is... an extremely decent album in it's totality and sang by a powerful voice, in a way that makes of "ordinary" pop/rock, a valuable, respectful and worthwhile quality moment in life.
Which makes of it, each time more a rarity... unfortunately.
I wonder why is A. Hardt listed twice on Jamendo. Someone ought to merge, since it's the same person with two records. Having heard the EP first, I am pleased to say improvement is audible (not that it's great, as stated in that review). Here, however, the schmaltz just keeps on pouring. There's a single half-decent track on this entire album. Listening to it, I kept thinking 'a waste of talent'. I knows it has been already said, but let's repeat: that powerful voice should be given a more appropriate outlet.
