Thot franchit une dimension supplémentaire sur cet EP, en proposant des compositions de meilleure facture (comprenez qui défouraillent), et semble définitivement se tracer un chemin goudronné (à défaut de doré) vers un succès certain. On leur souhaite, en tous cas.

Très rapidement l’écoute des trois titres se révèle prenante, entêtante, obsédante voire tout bonnement hypnotique proche de la frénésie ou encore de la transe, dévoilant au grand jour un univers habité incisif, singulier, écorché à fleur de peau…

Thot a décidément cette puissance et cette énergie uniques, qui vous débordent tel un tsunami de sève digitale... Une vraie tempête entre les oreilles. Les spasmes d'euphorie qui suivent l'écoute relève de l'orgasme. Abandonnez-vous. Le chardon domine la danse.

Enjoyably prickly...

There seems an element of the anarchic must-have element of chaos, which makes this album, like the other (The Huffed Fragments) absolutely fantastic in its sense of realism. That coupled with moments at the other end of the bipolarity where everything is wonderfully in place and working very well, to a fine end product of musical, creative expression. Nice little album. Moved Hills being a good case in point, I start by thinking, 'what the hell', then within seconds I'm thinking 'ah! that's it, brilliant'. Excellent stuff, give it a huff. Very well put together and immensely appealing.
