Ibakusha present a fine track from the outset. Great start to this compilation. Beautiful atmospherics. A profoundly resonant track, Sabado Gris, from LOD. An exceptionally nice piece of electronic creativity. Next EDH, with Stefanovirch, a lo-fi vocalist track, like St.Etienne on a sunny day, bumping into Stereolab in the park, whilst eating ices. Andrey Kiritchenko's work seems to be an outer space soundscape, with a light and delicate formation of sound and rhythm, though there is something down-to-earth about it. Perhaps the tendrils of myhtree reach high enough and deep enough simultaneously.

Salmon offer a sparse but effective configuration. A very reasonable arrangement that works well, with some lovely noise manipulation. Nice variegation and progression, which can be quite difficult with minimalistic works. The Taylor Deupree/Kenneth Kirschner combination is apparently a good recipe, rising like a soufflé to the occasion. A soundtrack for a horror film laboratory maybe. Hypo EDH picks up a pace and fills the space more than adequately, with a fullsome track, without fingers so it seems!-) Vocals work well, nice touch. Songraphie's Saucers Race justifies the use of the word quirky, a jolly piece. Nice 8 bit touch at the end. Finally, the compilation rounds up with a more sombre artwork from Iso Brown. Abstracted fantastically well from the circumstances in which it was conceived. Like having the speakers behind you when you are listening. All in all, a superb array of electronic creative output.
