Mother Earth

Prologue

English

While I was in France, I thought that my next album will have asian sonorities. When I arrived in Asia, in China and in Thailand right now, I was surprised by the people's behavior about their environment. There's plastic bags everywhere, beaches and rivers are polluted, the inhabitants throw their rubbishes where they stand without making the effort to throw to the nearest trashbin. Nobody cleans, nobody pick up the rubbishes, nobody protect or respect the environment. It's very shocking and sad also. This motivated me to release this album dedicated to our poor Earth which is very bullied, as well as all the living beings ! Because the distress of the Earth is the distress of all of us. And because we tend to forget that Mankind and its 3 millions of years represent only 0.00067% of 4.5 billions of years, the age of the Earth !

This album is very various in musical genres, but is mainly axed on electro music. The influences are diverse, even classical : there is two song played with a church organ (or pipe organ). The sonorities are still quite "Dark" in general, as people had noticed on my first album. So, notice to fans ! And sorry for the others, but who knows, try a listening and maybe you would change your opinion ? I just have one wish, that I can make you feel my sorrow about the fate of our poor Earth.

Good listening !

the music is good but the tracks take too much time to develop..they have big intros, then the cool part is small in time. "up the dosage, mike"

the solo tracks with one or two instruments arent not my piece of cake.

great DNB with the synth on the first track. 10 rating track. even though it could have a little more DNB.

First of all I love the artist's concept and dedication to protect our "bullied" planet. Human beings are displaying what idiots we are as we slowly destroy the earth and her various residents. We are trashing our own home like a bunch of rebellious, and self-indulging teenagers may do to their own place when their parents are away. Idiots we may be, and short sighted, but we will pay. And it will hurt us more than it will the earth, because this world was created to survive.

Secondly, I think that the topic requires dark and ominous music. And repetition for this is an old story which keeps repeating itself, although never to this self-destructive stage that we experience today. I think that Windpearl did a wonderful job presenting their feelings about this situation.

As I am listening to "Origins" I hear an underlying pleading and a powerful painfulness. I hear endangered creatures crying out. I hear in the bass the sounds of the depth of Earth's pain. I hear the living beings dying in the sea as we slowly poison that living water. (Just a side note: off of the coast of Oregon are now great regions called "Dead Zones" where every living thing is dead!!!! This is also occurring elsewhere around the globe).

I think, in this album, that Earth is telling her story from beginning to end as it applies to human residence. There is much drama and pain throughout, for what is life without such. But what Humankind does to himself, in his greed and self loathing, is inexcusable. It will take every single human on this earth to dedicate themselves to reverse this horrible situation we are in.

Thank you Windpearl for a job well done, for this lovingly created music, and a caring attitude and a bit of hope.

Nice mixture of styles although bit repetitive in places. Dnb not my scene but on the hole fits nicely into my genre of choice electonic/ambient. The Church organ blows me away, nice touch. All in all a good listen.

Mi najbardziej się podobał "Game's not over" :)
