Album description

There came a time in my life when I realized everyday, not just the holidays, should be celebrated. Still, the collective magnets of this time of year draw us near, and it's with great pleasure I share Holidium, which is the element of celebration. *smiles*

It's some of my best pianistry yet, with 21 pieces for your enjoyment. Riffs inspired by traditional hymns and pop numbers burst forth in plentiful color as flowing chords get kissed under the mistletoe. There are fast-moving spectacles of emotion and pauses that refresh. It's all quite pleasant, really. And just in time for you to open your prezzies and have a heartwarming meal to!

My piano of choice for this album: Imperfect Samples' Braunschweig Upright, which has an intimate, cozy feel. (Backed up by Akoustik's pedal.) Almost as if you're gathered around to hear me play.

The lovely artwork and cover model is my wife's avatar. She also glammed up the shot, and I added some extra golden. Romantic, just like the music.

Very Enjoyable!

Exquisite piano - holidayish - bright and sparkly - uplifting in nature - perky even. I have been trying to track down all the best Christmas music on Jamendo for a play list and I'm not quite sure I want to put this one in as it is not quite traditional but it is awfully good. I think the artist is just in a upbeat mood and wants to share his joy with us, which he accomplishes quite nicely.
