Good album

The third effort by the italian music-collective Apuamater is probably its most focused to date; both the sound and the themes the album deals with are treated with great care and make for a very compelling - if sometimes challenging - listening experience. The story - a concept based on the hypothesis of Christ's return on Earth in the guise of a pop-star - isn't always too easy to follow, but provides the lyrics with a large repertory of images and social-oriented messages. The folky sound with a very sharp "hi-tech" edge might recall Jamendo's favorites Pornophonique, or - but in a slightly different way - the experimentations of the legendary Natural Milk Hotel.
