This is the second full-length album from Loudog, a vivid fourth wave ska-punk-reggae band from Germany. Learn more about them at www.myspace.com/loudogmusic

A good solid rock, punk-ska album with a touch of swing as well. Good vocals, that really suit this type of music. Nice catchy music, With great solid drums and good guitarist as well. Makes you want to get up and dance to this music. Let alone toe tap to it as well. Professional sounding and a really enjoyable album.

I think loudog would be proud of his namesake. An excellent album from beginning to end. stayed exciting and fresh all the way through.

Ok, last time I enjoyed an album that much was when I was listening to the Cat Empire and for me that's a BIG compliment:)

I like the use of natural sounds like waves and bird calls. The strong base line is also nice to hear in music. There is a nice upbeat that connects the music but it doesn't become repetitive.

ROX!

I found this album pure and simple amazing. Good sound, good vocals, nice composition and a certitude: true music never dies!!! I gave it 9 stars, but perhaps it deserve 10! :)

exciting and moving! Makes me want to get up and move my feet. The beat picks you up and transports you to a place of happiness and energy. I cant explain exactly why but somehow the music just puts me in a better mood. defiantly an album for a rainy day.

Brief Review in two paragraphs:
--> Paragraph 1: Brief SUMMARY of Album

The album Waste Your Time is vibrant, danceable, and surprising. The first two songs are strong, edgy Ska tunes that might remind one of the hardest songs produced by The English Beat or Spencer The Gardener. Then the album takes a turn toward the softer Reggae roots that Ska sprang from. Loud Dog hails from Germany, but their English is fantastic and they write songs about the topics we're all interested in: love, having fun, and how tough a bad job can be to get through. Loud Dog might have titled this album Waste Your Time, but no one's time is getting wasted here.

--> Paragraph 2: My own RESPONSE.

My personal favorite song on this album is the seething "Work Sux." It is both funny and angry at the same time. It tells the story of a young person torn between spending time doing what he loves and having to go to work to make money so that he can spend time doing what he loves. This is a quandary we're all familiar with and Loud Dog's humorous take on this situation just makes me happy I've chosen work that I sincerely love doing. This album is simply one of the best, most thoughtful, and well produced albums I have had the pleasure of being introduced to at Jamendo.
