Madelaine Hart Is Going Places With That Voice

Madelaine Hart is going places with that voice of hers. Outstanding passion, and emotion in her voice, and she carries the lyrics with such style and finesse in her vocals. Nice acoustic guitar accompanying her that set the tracks of nicely. And so much more to this album.

A great find - this artist has a voice almost up there with Cat Powers and I don't give that comparison lightly as I am a great fan of the same. I don't whether Madelaine drinks burbon and smokes Lucky's but what a superb voice; smoky, aching frgile and powerful - I wish her great success. All tracks are stand outs but Together has real class.

Gentle Strength

Madelaine Hart has a voice of buttered honey warmth and a gentle strength. A sweet guitar accompanies as she sings her lovely lyrics. One of my favorites was "It Doesn't Snow Here" for its melancholy quality and I liked "Murder Song" for its melody. This is a nice album for rainy days at home or a Sunday drive out into the countryside.
