Good album

This Symphony has a lot of energy and a sense of direction. I think the opening of the 1st movement makes you take notice, and the use of various instrumental locations, and effects, shows the composer has a grasp of orchestration. THe calm of the 4th movement (Sostenuto) is memorable for its mood - fishermen on a calm sea - maybe at night? The 5th movement is a logical energetic closure, with a little jazzines thrown in for good measure. I think in a couple of instances the composer stays on one 'thought' a little too long, particularly in the 2nd & 3rd movements, but it is a noble tribute to fishermen nontheless.
