For a start, I love the cover. And, for once the lyrics smack of a similarity, I lost three friends yesterday, through no fault of my own and am resigned to My (own) Lonely Arms. Very touching and very beautiful, I could cry (and sometimes do). Deep calls to deep, but life can be hellishly lonely, even when surrounded by a world that sometimes doesn't seem to care and people don't seem to want to hear what I say either.
Be Thou My Vision is all I have left and that will suffice. I have no choice and do not manipulate people for my own ends, I let them make their own decisions. Maybe that's where I'm going wrong? Again, a heartrending lyricism. God save us all. We need it for sure. As for the third track, comfort and joy is something we all need a bit more of. Jerusalem is the hymn that secures me in my moments of desperation. This track might replace it mind you, nice adaptation.
Lastly, So Are You. Another touchingly appropriate track for me and I don't usually go for lyrics, so this is a big step for me but I have really enjoyed listening to this. Just looking at one single star in the firmament, sometimes all I can connect to, can be a saving grace and here there is plenty of grace. Nice work and thanks.
