Two bad only two tracks are released on Jamendo, but by judging those two I can say that I could potentially fall in love with this band.
"Come and Go" has a very nice vibe to it and I just adore the brass on it! :D
"Otherside of the World" is not a bad track either, but because the first track is so lively, it makes this one look a bit plain.
I'd give it more if I had more material to judge from.
Hope to hear more from Two Spot Gobi soon! :]
I absolutely loved this cd! Great music, flows together perfectly.
These guys can play. The bass and drums lay the foundations beautifully;I love the ambiance of the singers voice. The guitarist is a master of his instrument.I wiuld can this music a fusion of rock, based on African rhythms with a hint of the Caribbean through the horns, and modern jazz. Wonderful stuff. It is uplifting in spirit a little like absinthe: teardrops of the moon, neater of the gods.
I love the combination of traditional genres in this music! Perfect for someone like me who enjoys many different kinds of music. I look forward to hearing more!
This is an awesome soulful sound - I just adore the lead vocals - brilliant.
Very cool ska/reggae/hip-hop/jazz combination.. I love it!! Sounds very professional..
Sounds great. I look forward to hearing more!
This release couldn't be performed more musically or produced more professionally. Both tracks feature guitar, bass, drums and brass in a beautifully latin-influenced pop sound with complex chord progressions. If you're not boxed into one genre, or soulful pop is the genre of your particular box, then this is a truely rewarding listen.
