This album was recorded by Diskoteket in 2006, in Sösjö, Jämtland. It’s mixed by Diskoteket and Kristofer Jönson and mastered by Pär Dalhielm.

Diskotekets line-up in 2006 was Anna-Karin Andersson (vocals), Snorri Carlsson (guitar), Karl Sydstrand (bass), Love Sydstrand (drums).

The band broke up the same year but regrouped in 2007 with Jonas Hedman replacing Snorri Carlsson, who had moved to China to study.

Really fantastic

This album is a real gem. I have listened to it 3 times since downloading it a couple days ago, and that's really saying something! (I rarely listen to repeats)

Diskoteket has a great postpunk sound, kind of reminiscent of joy division or bauhaus, but they make it their own.

Very worthwhile, and I certainly look forward to future work from this artist!
