Album description

Topology serves up a diverse program of Australian music mixed with British and American composers, with an emphasis on wit and high-energy rhythm (well, as far as that can be taken with an all-acoustic group of strings, sax and piano).

I've greatly enjoyed this album since buying it after seeing Topology on tour, right after it was released. From the creative use of the samples from the McLibel documentary (a technique forming the basis of their 2006 album Airwaves), to the humour of Mere MaLady (track 12 on the original disc, unfortunately not available here, presumably for legal reasons), I've returned to this album many times over the years. In fact, when I finally saw the McLibel documentary some time later, I couldn't get the melodies from this disc out of my head!

Many thanks for making this album available to a wide audience via this site. If you liked it, this and other albums by Topology are available for purchase at http://www.topologymusic.com/
