Voici mon 8eme album chez Jamendo avec des mélodies composées pour la plupart depuis janvier 2009 et utilisant en autre mon tout dernier synthétiseur virtuel Omnisphère permettant de créer des ambiances uniques. L'ensemble de l'album est toujours dans les tons Ambient et Newage execpté pour le morceau Ying-Yang ou je me suis essayé à composer une musique dans le style Jazz fusion. This is my eight album on Jamendo including melodies composed for most of them in 2009 and using, principaly the virtual synthesizer Omnisphere including amazing ambiances and sound effects.The whole album stick with my favorite styles that are ambient and newage (except for the Track Ying-Yang that was new for me to compose a jazz-fusion music). If you like your tunes on the mellow side, then Patroux's MYSTERY OF LIFE is definitely for you. From the opening track, we get to see the album's structure laid bare-the artist employs syncopating percussive elements to buoy an ebbing melody line to very nice effect. Though the album is somewhat homogenous in technique, each tune has its own distinct appeal. Notable cuts include the title track, LA DANSE DES DAUPHINS, MUSIC FOR THE PEACE, FAR ANTARCTICA, HONGI, and MELTING PLANET. The best of a great bunch is MUSIC FOR THE PEACE which has one of the sweetest melodies I have heard from any Patroux track- don't miss this one. Overall, MYSTERY OF LIFE is a really fine album with no sour notes from start to finish. It is a finely woven disc with songs that successfully complement one another leaving one with the impression of an organic whole. Well done!!!
