Cannot compute!-) Sounds like one of those famous Japanese monsters awakening from a long slumber. Love that ending. The second track, 鹿鳴館, is the plaintive crying of tiny, oriental deer echoing in a hall of soundwalls. Certain sense of dramaturgy evident in its construction and expression.
Noise re yacky, a profound horror film soundscape. Quite disturbing with its dark depths as it probes your various levels of consciousness like an intrusive alien. The fourth track, 桜, I was expecting to be lighter, like a gentle poem about cherry blossom. Perhaps this is an anarchic anti-poem. Track five, 狐, is a crafty crafting of noise and the most structured piece so far, with a conversation between hard guitar and gong sounds, plumbing the depths of you being yet again.
The last track, 枯葉, again equally intense noise levels. Depicts the harshness of winter and the dropping of leaves from an orange bush, so it seems. One carefully crafted throughout spring, and summer perhaps, and then for the seasons to just come and sweep away all that work. However, I think that is something that the resilience of Japanese culture has had to learn to assimilate and fair play, they have come up trumps. Nice noise work. Not easy listening, you have been warned!
